Culinary Knowledge Bowl

Yesterday I attended an event called the knowledge bowl. I was not in it just sitting in the crowd watching. It was done in a jeopardy style format only they weren't using the word what is before answering the question there is even a daily double twice. And you're able to guess the mystery picture for 50 points added to score. Points were deducted for wrong answers and given for the right ones to each question.. Honestly I thought the questions would have been much harder than they were. Overall the questions were pretty simple it's stuff you should of already learned or know how to do. Questions like in Sauce Bechemel what Roux is used? In roux what fat is recommended? How many 12 ounce hamburger patties can be made from 78 pounds of Chuck? What is an egg shell composed of? If the recipe calls for 9 1/4 cups and you need three times the recipe how many cups we you need? What type of oats are steamed and flattened? How much of the egg consist of yolk? Name the five primal cuts? What's the definition of clear plate? What is a clear portion of an egg? If you want answers these questions just comment below.
