My First ACF Convention

Yesterday I attended an ACF convention my first one this one being held at the Renaissance Hotel. While I was there I learned about different assets I may be able to use in the future. Such as buying uniforms what companies to use. What types of uniforms are available. I bought two books the first one being Favorite Recipes by Golden Toque Chefs & Wives which I may find extremely useful considering the caliber of the recipes submitted. I've seen several really good recipes just flipping through it. The second book Shop Like A Chef may prove useful for learning where to buy certain ingredients as well as how to prepare them in different recipes. I also purchased two bottles of wildflower honey. I got to try and myriad of different foods and different ingredients. I attended a vegetarian class which was pretty helpful. There were some minor work involved but overall the experience was well worth it. Many of the students that were there had been there before two different ones this not being the first. There is one again in April but it is in South Carolina. It seems to me that someone should be holding one of these conventions ACF related or not four times year you know like the seasons. Although I wonder what the regular guest were thinking of all those people there.
